FLASH! -
After nearly 100 years in White Haven, PA, Wilmot moved to Freeland, PA in 2008.
Please see News (or below) for our new address and
telephone numbers.
Wilmot was established in 1908 on patents covering its
rivetless chain. The original rivetless chain was patented November 12, 1907 (Patent
No. 870,704). Additional design improvements were patented December 29, 1914
(Patent No. 1,122,831). Throughout more than
100 years of use in conveyors and conveying
equipment, this product clearly has withstood the rigid "test of
time".
All parts of our Keystone Rivetless Chain are drop forged from
carbon steel, normalized, heat-treated and quenched. This production procedure
allows us to obtain the ultimate physical properties of the material.
Keystone Rivetless Chain is designed to eliminate all bending
stress when under load, the links being under tension load with the pins in
double shear load. This design, in addition, permits very simple assembly or
disassembly at any pitch in the chain. The inside radii of the links are
broached to allow full pin seating and assure accuracy of pitch.
Wilmot's rivetless chain is available in two
designs:
We maintain a large inventory of rivetless chain, attachments
and related products for immediate shipment. Most
orders ship same day or within 24 hours.
Not all alloys, attachments or other
