Rivetless Chain - Original and X-Style

Rivetless chain from Wilmot is available in two designs:

• Original, or Standard. Recommended for general applications such as bulk conveying.
• X-Style. Specifically designed for overhead trolley conveyors.

Our rivetless chain is designed to eliminate all bending stress when under load, the links being under tension load with the pins in double shear load. This design, in addition, permits very simple assembly or disassembly at any pitch in the chain. The inside radii of the links are broached to allow full pin seating and assure accuracy of pitch.

• Design. Simple design with only 3 parts: Center link, side links and connecting pin.
• No Bolts or Rivets. Assembly or disassembly with hands; no tools are required.
• Strength. Design allows avoiding all bending strains and its strength in position is identical to the ultimate tensile strength of the cross section area of metal in the links.
• Straight Lines. Straight line design eliminates all strain other than tension load on the links, with pins in double shear load. This provides average ultimate strength up to 350,000#, depending on size and material.
• Shipped Completely Assembled. Orders shipped assembled and ready to be placed on sprockets. Installation is fast, easy and inexpensive.
• Attachments. Full line of attachments available. Attachments are easily installed.
• Alloys and Other Materials. Stainless steel, 4140, 4340 & other materials available on special order.
